We have substantial experience on the creditor side on motions for relief from stay, cash collateral, and plan confirmation matters. We have handled numerous successful plaintiff nondischargeability cases, and have defended many preferences and fraudulent transfer cases. We have been involved in bankruptcy asset sales, claim sales, and just about every transaction that can arise in or around a bankruptcy case. We have niche experience in Bankruptcy Code Section 524(g) cases. On occasion, in the right case, we will represent as bankruptcy counsel corporate debtors, provided there is no bank debt involved.
We have been involved in hundreds of workout negotiations and agreements and have expertise in sophisticated forbearance and restructure agreements, security agreements, releases, deed-in-lieu agreements, and similar arrangements.

A regular part of our practice is devoted to helping clients sell troubled loans and to assisting loan purchasers in acquiring such assets. We have been involved in several hundred million dollars in loan sales on both the seller and the buyer side, and are comfortable working on a variety of asset classes.
Real Property Sales
Our firm has been involved in representing clients in the sale and purchase of commercial and residential real properties throughout the State of California. In particular, we have handled sales of lender real estate-owned assets, with expertise on “as is, where is” sales.
